Satya Rajpurohit is the co-founder of Indian Type Foundry (ITF) in Ahmedabad, India. He studied Graphic Design at the National Institute of Design (NID) in Ahmedabad, India, and worked briefly with Linotype in Bad Homburg; Dalton Maag in London; and L2M3 in Stuttgart. He now works full-time at ITF creating original fonts for multiple languages. His fonts are being used by some of the world's most iconic brands including Apple, Google, Samsung, Amazon, Sony, Discovery and 21st Century Fox to name a few.
In 2010, he received the prestigeous "SoTA Catalyst Award” presented by the Society of Typographic Aficionados. In 2016 and 2017, he was listed one of the Fortune India’s "40 under 40". In 2017, he was also listed amongst GQ India's "50 Most Influential Young Indians" list.
In 2017, he started Fontstore, a font subscription service for designers, with its headquarter in Singapore.
